CTBI Magazine, Autumn 2019

Find out all about the work of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI) in our latest magazine – Autumn 2019 – free to download.

Our important work in the coming year includes resources for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (18- 25 January 2020), an online resource aimed at helping churches and Christian groups combat serious youth violence, a guide for Christians who wish to understand antisemitism better (produced with the Council of Christians and Jews), a ground-breaking conference addressing the challenges, risks and opportunities of participating in the rituals and practices of other religions, and CTBI’s  Lent study for 2020, Opening the Scriptures, based around the question ‘what biblical text sets your heart on fire?’

The magazine also contains a major interview with the CEO of Christian Aid, Amanda Mukwashi, Bishop Jonathan Clark of the Churches’ Refugee Network (CRN) writes on ‘Demystifying asylum‘, explore the role the arts are playing in issues of social justice within our cities and communities, find information on the Children’s Ministry Network, and details of the UK Bossey Network, an invaluable forum for ecumenical, educational and environmental issues.
