Pray for the Climate and Nature Bill to pass its second reading in UK parliament
Join us in praying for the Climate and Nature (CAN) Bill as it progresses through Parliament and nears a crucial stage—its second reading—on Friday 24 January 2025.
As Christians, God calls us to care for His creation, and we want to both pray and act to call others to use their power to protect it as well.
As the only proposed legislation before the UK Parliament that ensures a comprehensive and joined-up approach to the climate emergency and nature crisis, we are praying for the CAN Bill to pass and move on to the next stage.
It’s vital that we stand up for nature and act on its behalf. 190+ MPs have committed to support the Bill. BUT we need as many MPs as possible to turn up and VOTE for the Bill on the 24th of January in order for it to be passed.
A Rocha UK and 24-7 Prayer are hosting 45 minutes to join with others to pray for this Bill to pass. We will also pray more broadly for the care and preservation of God’s creation and for those most affected by the devastating impacts of Climate Change.
