The annual service in celebration of Creation, and this year the focus will be on Climate Justice. “Is it Justice – or Just Us?”
The Right Reverend Hugh Nelson, Bishop of St Germans will be speaking.
There will be performances by the Cornwall Youth Choir and a presentation about the environment by children from St Uny Academy in Carbis Bay.
The Diocese invites everyone to “cherish creation, cut carbon and speak up” for the future of the environment, and awards will be made to parishes that have earned the Diocese of Truro’s Kernow Green Church Awards and national Eco Church Awards.
Participants in the event will also be encouraged to make their own commitments to contribute to the care of the natural world.
Entry is free and all are very welcome.
