The role:
We are looking for a trust fundraiser to write charitable bids to both existing funds and new prospects. Duties will include:
- Making applications in order to attract grants and donations from trusts, and producing bids to charitable foundations.
- Overseeing relationships with grant-making trusts, ensuring these relationships are mutually beneficial and maximising the potential for giving.
- Researching and identifying charitable trusts which may provide future financial support to BRF.
- Preparing compelling proposals, creative pitches and appropriate applications to a broad range of funders.
- Ensuring trusts are thanked for donations in a timely fashion and writing reports for funders on how their donation has supported our work.
The person:
If you’re a people-orientated, passionate person with good communication and relationship building skills then we would love to hear from you! To be considered for this role, you should have a flair for creative writing and have an ability to prepare compelling proposals, creative pitches and influential applications. We are looking for individuals who know how to research and identify suitable trusts and foundations and have a demonstrable track record in the submission of successful bids.
