Location: Home-based/Office (Abingdon)/Hybrid
The role:
We are looking for a fundraising officer to build quality, sustainable relationships with mid- and major- donors to secure funds and encourage ongoing support of the charity. Duties will include:
- Building relationships with BRF’s major donors via telephone, in person and via emails to ask for donations for specific projects.
- Arranging special events to thank groups of BRF’s supporters and donors.
- Delivering strong stewardship and cultivation of existing and potential supporters through mailings.
The person:
If you’re a people-orientated, passionate person with good communication and relationship building skills then we would love to hear from you! To be considered for this role, you should have experience building relationships with people from a range of backgrounds and understand the importance of good stewardship and customer service. While experience working with major donors in a fundraising setting would certainly be advantageous, we are also keen to speak with people looking to transfer their skills into this rewarding area and are committed to ongoing professional development in fundraising.
