Vacancy: Food Service Worker, Penryn

Dear All,

Due to the current situation with respect to Coronavirus, we anticipate that the number of clients that will need our help is likely to increase, especially as there may be school closures and parents may have to stay at home and therefore will be unable to work.

We are asking you all if possible to be extra generous with respect to food donations, we are already seeing signs of the shelves being empty of certain items, such as Long Life Milk, Toilet Rolls, Soap etc, and we are trying to pre-empt any shortages in the future.

We are aiming to run normally as long as advice remains favourable, our clients are often very vulnerable and really gain such a lot from the foodbank.

We have a number of volunteers who for various reasons cannot help us out for the foreseeable future with respect to our Thursday opening hours of 2pm until 4pm, therefore we are also requesting that if any of you are willing and able to come to help at the foodbank on Thursdays between 2pm and 4pm then we would be very grateful.

If you are able to offer help, please could you drop us an email foodbank@highwaychurch.co.uk or phone 01326 618575 during opening hours Monday 11am until 1pm or Thursday from 2pm until 4pm.

MANY THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.
