This exciting new role focuses on developing a volunteer team and working with our partner organization Citizen’s Advice so that people who visit foodbanks have access to good quality support.
You will support a team of approximately 10 volunteers to assist people needing the food bank. This team will offer a range of support, including assisted self-help to support income maximisation (for example using a laptop available at the foodbank centre) and to prepare for, engage with and act on advice provided by Citizens Advice Cornwall and other agencies.
