Place of workBased at units 1G/H Guildford Road Industrial Estate, Hayle, TR27 4QZ, working countywide. With the opportunity for some home working after successful probationary period.
Working hours30 hours per week, to be worked over 4 days, ideally Monday to Thursday but can be flexible.  9am-5pm with the option of an 8.30am start.

Key Responsibilities 

Partnership Development:

  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with lived experience organisations representing any and all marginalised communities across Cornwall and Isles of Scilly.
  • Advocate for the needs and priorities of lived experience organisations and the communities they serve.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for collaboration and joint initiatives.
  • Create and manage agreements and contracts.

Community Engagement:

  • Facilitate engagement activities that connect lived experience organisations with broader community initiatives.
  • Organise and lead workshops, meetings, and forums to gather input and feedback from community members.
  • Develop strategies to enhance community participation and involvement.

Administration:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling, minutetaking, and record-keeping.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all partnerships and engagements.
  • Manage correspondence and communications with partners and stakeholders.

Bid Writing and Fundraising:

  • Identify funding opportunities and develop competitive bids to secure funding for community projects.
  • Work collaboratively with partners to write and submit grant proposals.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of funded projects.

Contract Management:

  • Oversee the implementation and monitoring of contracts with partners and funders.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and reporting requirements.
  • Address any issues or concerns related to contract performance.

Representation and Advocacy:

  • Represent the organisation at meetings, conferences, and other events.
  • Advocate for the needs and priorities of lived experience organisations and the communities they serve.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to diverse audiences.

Voice and Influence:

  • Amplify the voices of individuals with lived experience in decision-making processes.
  • Support the development of mechanisms for community members to influence policies and practices.
  • Facilitate and identify innovative opportunities for lived experience organisations to share their insights and experiences through different mediums.
