Some churches in Cornwall already run the CAP Money Course. If there’s not one in your area, why not start one? Read on to learn how:
A money management course that gives delegates the opportunity to learn skills that have a lasting impact on their finances.
Some church members may be struggling financially. Many could be worrying less, perhaps even saving and giving more, but poor money management is robbing them of that freedom.
We can help.
The CAP Money Course is a budgeting course that has helped over 50,000 people avoid financial crises and become better stewards of their money.
Here’s how it works:
- You nominate one or more coaches to run the course.
- We train them through an in-person day training session.
- They run the three-session course (online or in person), empowering people to budget well, worry less and make the most of their money.

Right now, online training is £15 per person.

FAQs
What makes a good CAP Money Coach?
You don’t need to be a financial expert – just someone who is organised with their own money and can facilitate discussion.
Do I need to attend more than one training date?
No. Once you’ve passed the assessment, training is done.
Are there options to run the course for other age groups?
We also have CAP Money resources for young people in 3 different age groups: 9-11, 14-16 and 16+. So it’s great for church congregations and local school/college/university outreach.
I have more questions – can I speak to someone?
We would love to chat. Please email info@capmoneycourse.org or call 01274 761910.
