Praying for peace in the Holy Land

Our partner churches, Baptists Together, the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church, and our associate partner, The Church of Scotland, have all released prayers for peace in Israel and Gaza. There have been statements, background briefings and encouragements to support Christian Aid’s Middle East Crisis Appeal. You can find these using the links below. Each of the Churches that make up JPIT have differences of approach regarding Israel and Palestine, which is why the Joint Public Issues Team only points to each denomination’s separate statements or responses to the current conflict, rather than making a JPIT statement. Despite different approaches, we all continue to pray and work for meaningful, lasting peace between people of all faiths and backgrounds in the Holy Land.
