A Prayer for the Anna Chaplaincy
| Faithful God, You have promised to be with us on our lifelong journey home. Thank you for walking alongside us in BRFโs Anna Chaplaincy ministry during these past 10 years. Continue to keep us in step with you, and in tune with your ways, as we accompany each other through the latter years of our lives. May we daily meet with you in the life stories of those for whom we care and who care for us. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. |

A Prayer for Fairtrade Fortnight 2024 (9-22 Sep) Just a moment It starts with a change So outwardly insignificant That no one would notice Except the person Behind you in the aisle. Just a moment When instead of seeing Rows of labels On a supermarket shelf You imagine the people Behind them, Tilling the earth, Sowing the seed, Gathering the crops. And you pause, Wondering, What their names are, Where they live, What difference it will make If your hand picks up This box instead of that, Wondering: how do I Love these neighbours? Can I help change This childโs long journey for water, Her motherโs lack of healthcare, The prospect her father faces Of another year unable To feed his family well? Just a moment. And the person behind you, Her impatient baby Squirming in the trolley, May never realise That in that brief hesitation, A life hung in the balance. |

A Prayer for Education Sunday 2024 (8 Sep)
Father God in Heaven,
Thank you for your constant guidance and protection over us.
We see how around us not everything is perfect or beneficial for us to do.
We know things try and grab our attention and focus away from who you are and your majesty.
Father, we ask that you help us be led not into temptation, but that you would help us to make better choices and to find true joy and peace in your presence.
We ask you to help us, and guide us, and we thank you for your everlasting love towards us.
Amen.
