Given the increases in energy and living costs, we all have less money in all our pockets to pay for our basics such as food, heating, housing, and transport.
In response to that and in collaboration with The CHAOS Group and the Voluntary Sector Forum (VSF), AgeUK Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly are launching a new campaign entitled Help with the Cost of Living.
It has 2 simple aims:
- Encourage organisations and individuals to join Cornwall Link to showcase what they offer and how they can help
- Have a single, online space (website) for the public and health & social care professionals to find relevant information and support available in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly & beyond
The campaign includes links to useful toolkits; hints & tips on reducing energy and living costs; grants; food banks/larders; advice and locations for safety, friendship and information including warmth hubs and more.
