Creation Fest 2025
Once again it was a joy to meet people, young and older, from near and far, at this yearโs Creation Fest. The theme: Celebrating the good news of the God who loves us was developed by excellent speakers, fantastic music and a diverse range of activities – seminars, workshops, childrenโs activities and a full youth programme.

The CTC stand was located in the โBig Shedโ exhibition space, alongside a wide range of Christian organisations that included books, art, international charities and campaigns. This year, on our flipchart, we asked the question:ย What could you, or your church, learn from another church?ย whichย encapsulates the heart of Receptive Ecumenism:ย Instead of asking what other Church traditions need to learn from us, we ask what our tradition needs to learn from them โ what we can receive which is of God?

We invited responses on post-it notes and once again children were some of the most enthusiastic and spontaneous of those who responded. Most adults needed some time to think! Overall we received approximately 90 replies that we will read, review, analyse and learn from. Thank you so much to everyone who popped by โ it was a joy to meet you, hear about ecumenical activity in your area, and share a passion for Christian unity.ย
