Community Hubs

Community hubs are places and spaces that act as a central point of voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) contact, working collaboratively to support their local communities.

Community hubs have been operating throughout Cornwall for some time, and we have been working with NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly and partners across the public and voluntary sectors, to ensure that we have provision in place in communities to respond to the possible impacts of the cost of living crisis.

From October, the hubs will be offering winter support – a local solution for some people to provide warm, safe places for support, socialising and activities through the colder months and beyond. You can catch up on the recent news about this by hitting the news tab on the campaign page.

We are in the process of developing a longer-term plan for delivering care and support in a place-based model through a network of community hubs.
