It’s time to take action. The next stage in our efforts to create an actively anti-racist Cornwall is to ask for help. By signing up to the Race Charter for Cornwall you are adding your voice to the ever-growing network of allies.
The Charter
- I will recognise and seek to understand the systemic advantages at play in society
- I will seek out, listen to and learn from the lived experiences of those effected by racism
- I will challenge any of my own values that I have been brought up to believe in around the generalisation of race
- I will value people as individuals and not make assumptions based on race
- I will understand what privilege means and how It can affect my life experiences and other peoples
