About us

Falmouth & Penryn Churches Together (FPCT) is an association of 19 Christian congregations in Falmouth, Penryn and the surrounding areas; providing a forum in which we can explore, and through which we can put into effect, ways of serving God together – both in worship and in service to the community. See the Member Churches page for contact details of our member churches, and our Annual Report for details of all our activities.

FPCT is governed by its Forum, comprising two representatives (plus the minister) from each member church, and serviced by its Executive, whose members are elected by the Forum, It meets regularly and holds its Annual General Meeting in July, when officers (Convenor, Treasurer, Secretary and Public Relations Co-ordinator) and executive members for the coming year are elected. All meetings are public and anyone is welcome to attend, but only church representatives may vote.

In November 2014 FPCT adopted a formal Constitution and at its 2015 AGM agreed to adopt the Statement of Belief of Churches Together in England, to which it is affiliated through Churches Together in Cornwall.

In 2023 FPCT is undertaking a revision of its constitution to ensure it remains fit for purpose. The initial draft can be seen here, and this will be discussed and revised at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Mon 20 Feb 2023 at 7.30pm. All are welcome to attend and express your views, or send them beforehand to fpctcontact@gmail.com.
