We have all been deeply affected by the ongoing war in Israel/Palestine, especially the huge amount of suffering in Gaza. With that in mind, there will be a Silent Vigil for the Holy Land from 10.00am to 12.00 noon on The Moor in Falmouth on Tuesday 7 October, which is second anniversary of the beginning of the war.
There will be no flags, no banners, just prayerful people gathering to pray for peace in the Holy Land. Anyone is welcome to join in for as long or as short as they are able.
We plan to have some brief A5 leaflets available to hand out to people if they ask us what we are there for. The vigil would be to uphold all people involved and affected by the conflict.
