Coads Green Methodist Church, which is part of the Launceston Area Methodist Circuit, is seeking to appoint a Christian Lay Worker to help us grow our mission, strengthen community connections, and explore fresh ways of being church.
This is an exciting opportunity to:

- Help shape a new vision for the church’s outreach and discipleship
- Build on existing relationships and create new ones
- Encourage faith exploration and support spiritual growth

They’re looking for someone who:
- Has a living, personal faith in Jesus Christ
- Is approachable, adaptable, and a great communicator
- Enjoys meeting people where they are and building trust over time
- Can work collaboratively with volunteers and the church leadership
- Is motivated to see faith come alive in everyday life
The role includes Sunday morning church attendance and some evening/weekend commitments.
Training, mentoring, and development opportunities will be provided, including the chance to attend the Methodist Church’s Faith-Rooted Community Organising course at Cliff College.
